# Editing Roles and Information of Existing Users

|| ✍ **Note:** You need to be an **Owner** or **Admin** of your Wobot.ai account to perform the following tasks for other users. An individual **User** can only change his name and email address, however, can't change the assigned role. # To update/change the role and information of a user

1. Log in to your Wobot.ai account. Navigate to the left sidebar, and click **⚙️ Settings** to view the list of all ${color}[#3766e8](**Users**).

2. Select the user whose role you want to change or make changes to his assigned location(s) and click 🖉 **Edit** icon.

3. Update the **User Name**, assign a new **Role** to user from the dropdown, associate more **Location(s)**, and click `Update User`
