# Go-to Guide for Adding a Camera

1. To access the Camera section:
    *   Hover over the **WoCam** icon > Select **Cameras**. Here, you will see a list of all the added Cameras.

2. Tab `+ Add Camera` on the top right of the page.
   
3. Next, once the popup appears, fill in the **Camera Details**, **Access Credentials, Location** of your Camera, and set the **Alert** mechanism. You would need the following details to add your camera:  
    *   **Camera name** - Provide a relevant name for the view of your camera. 
    *   **Manufacturer name** - Select the manufacturer name of the camera from the drop-down menu. 
    *   **Public IP address** - Enter the Public IP address of the camera. 
    *   **RTSP port**- You need to enter the RTSP port. RTSP port needs to be open on the Public IP.  
    *   In the **Username** and **Password** field, enter the access credentials of your IP camera.  
    *   **Channel ID** - Channel ID refers to the camera number in your NVR. If you’re adding an IP camera, it is by default 1.  
    *   **Add to Location** - Select the **Region** **&** **City** from the first drop-down menu and then select the **Branch** from the next drop-down menu.  
    *   **Notification Settings -** Enter the time duration (in minutes) and **Email Address** to receive an email notification whenever the camera goes offline for more than the mentioned time duration.

4.  Finally, select `Add Camera` to save/add your camera to your **${color}[#3766e8](Wobot.ai Account)**
