# What is a Task?

At **Wobot.ai**, we monitor tasks for compliance or non-compliance.
A task is a subset of a checklist. A checklist comprises numerous sets of activities that must be followed in order to meet process compliance. Each activity is known as a **‘task’**. For instance, a COVID-19 checklist would have **‘social distancing’** and **‘facemask usage’** as two distinct tasks, which will be tested for compliance or non-compliance via our product through your cameras.
